Haiti Mission Trip

A group of Christians from the Madison area will be ministering in Southern Haiti.  Their goal is to provide a place for the native pastor to preach the Gospel and be a witness.  Projects include roofing a new church building, visiting the sick and disabled, building church pews, and miscellaneous other projects at the mission center. 

Phil Roberts has been going to Haiti since 1989 and has never seen such poverty.  Haitians are hungry for God's Word and know it's their only hope.  He has seen many good changes and watched some of the children grow into Godly young adults.  Life in Haiti is very hard, but no one is afraid of hard work.  It's just a way of life.  90% of Haitians have no running water or lights.  The average income is about $300 per year.
